Cub of the Night

CUB OF THE NIGHT

At our November 17th 2005 meeting, we introduced our "Cub of the Night" award  - a simple reward for our Cubs for wearing their uniforms properly and exhibiting the characteristics of being a good Cub.

We look for such things as helping out their fellow Cubs and being courteous and helpful during meetings. Each week we will recognize a Cub for their hard work with some crests and a pin or some other item. These do not go on the Cub uniform; they can go on a Cub blanket or a jacket, wherever the Cub wishes to keep them.

Shown here during last sunday's hike down to Kloiya, Daniel was not only Cub of the Night, at last Wednesday's meeting, but he was also invested that night!  ...and on top of that, he earned 2 badges! Way to go Dan! That's an 11th Kanata cubs First!

Let it be known that Brendan gave his crests and pins that he received for his Cub of the Night Award to a new cub, Zach, because he did not have any crests or pins.
