| Over the last few years we have been developing some very excellent Humpback and Grey whale watching and are now prepared to offer it to those who are interested in seeing whales as part of their fall grizzly bear ecotour. This is done in a long fiord called Work Channel and the wonderful thing about this is the waters are very calm allowing for excellent photos and video. This is usually done as we proceed to the Khutzeymateen grizzly bear sanctuary and other northern destinations. | ![]() |
Work Channel is basically on the way to these northern bear habitats. We can spend as much time as you want observing the whales bubble feeding, playing, breaching and just feeding in general. The whales have been very consistent on being there from about August 15 thru mid October as they migrate from Alaska to Mexico and the Hawaiian Islands. We have had several professional film makers and photographers tell us that this was the best footage they have ever taken. From our experience we have found most groups enjoy watching them from one to three hours before we move on to our destination. Whether you want to see them for a hour or two or a day or two it will be a experience you will never forget. |
