Welcome to Prince Rupert style fishing

Your trip will begin at Rushbrook floats in Prince Rupert. You have the option of departing in the
morning, or the night before. A morning trip starts roundabout day break. A night before trip
starts about 8 PM. We run out close to the fishing grounds and spend the night on the boat.
A morning departure is pretty standard around here. You are out for about 10 to 12 hours. It's a
full day! You leave to dock from around 5 to 7am and run for about an hour or so to where you
start to fish. 8 or 10 hours of fishing and you run back in. It can take an hour and a half to prepare
your catch for transport.
If you want to leave the night before we will meet around 8 o'clock. On the way out of the
harbour we may be able to pull a crab trap or two. After around a hour run we arrive at an
anchorage. From there we can relax, cook some crab or whatever you pefer. Morning comes and
we can have our lines in the water for the magic hour as the sun breaks the horizon. The day
boats will be along in an hour or two.
The best option is a three day trip. Departure is on the evening of the night before the first day,
Then three whole days fishing before we return to the dock. By that time our coolers are full,
arms are tired, and everyone is satisfied. There is no better time than four good friends together
for a long weekend on the ocean. You only need one trip like this to fill your freezer for the year.

YOU BRING:
Your best friends
The willingness and ability to have a good time
Food, beverages, snacks (you can drink in moderation on the boat)
Warm layered clothes
Rain gear, shorts

Any motion sickness medication you need
Fishing license (saltwater with a salmon tag)

My job is to make you a fishy bastard. Some need more help than others. I can to make it
happen.
My job is to do everything I possibly can to make your trip fun memorable and successful.
Conditions are a lot like camping, but on a boat. The quarters are close and grumpy people
should stay away. The north coast is a wild and untamed. High spirits are the key to a successful
trip. Be ready for any weather, and working towards a common goal. Catching a lot of fish. It will
take a lot of work. If you wish you can sleep overnight at the lodge, Dundas 101, Meals are
available there as well. However meals are normally cooked on board. breakfast as we troll in
Goose Bay, soup and sandwiches for lunch, and a nice dinner later on.
I love the area we will be fishing in, and I consider it success when you leaving loving it as well.
There is no better way to share it than making new friends over a long weekend, killing fish.

Rates run at $1350 + GST a day if you bring the food. I can arrange fthe food or whatever you
need but the rate will reflect the preparation required
I don't offer the cheapest day fishing, but I try to offer the best
Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.
It's always nice to talk to another fisherman.
